Eight mountainbikeroutes and four e-bikeroutes will take you from the Brauereiplatz in Appenzell to the most beautiful vistas in the hilly countryside. These official mountain biking and cycling routes in the region are marked and explained on the mountain bike map.
The rich flora and fauna are very sensitive to sudden disruptions. In order to preserve flora and fauna, mountain biking is prohibited in the Alpstein region and other particularly sensitive areas.
